    The Ellen DeGeneres Show-The Girl Who Made A 911 Phone Call-did Anyone See Ellen Today With The Girl Who Made An Emergency Phone Call Because A Robber Broke In To Her House? 1-29-08

    I am proud and glad that I watched this episode of The Ellen DeGeneres show, imagine if someone broke into my families house and I hid in the closet with a cordless phone calling the police and the person who broke into my house happened to be in the same closet as I am but he never looks up, that would be scary, but I hope it never happens to me, what would you do if you were in the girls situation????

    I heard about this one too...its amazing how lucky she is.....i think the robbers were nervous that the cops were in the house as well and didn't want to make a sound. But i bet if the robber saw the girl he would have held her hostage.

      I missed this episode. I think, I would do the same what this girl did. I am a guy, but I can't even think of attacking the robber without any sort of weapon, in this case she is just a girl. She did a great job, but it was her only option, other than to escape. But in such situations, its very hard to leave the house, without letting robber to take notice of it.
