Spunk is the name of an album by the Sex Pistols. It was an iconic and famous punk rock band in Britain. The album spunk was bootlegged in nature which meant that it was not released officially released by the artist or any legal authority. This album was made available to the public during October 1977 in UK. This album encompasses the studio demos and chatter with Dave Goodman, the live sound engineer of Sex Pistols. This album was released at a time when the bands original bass player glen Matlock was still with the band.

Many songs of this album were recorded and sold with the bands official début album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. Many fans of the band feel that Spunk was much better than the other official bands of Sex Pistols. This album is often said to be the alternative début album of the band.
