Smoking marijuana or THC for 35 years is a very long duration for drug accumulation in the body. A single dose of THC can be detected in blood for 2-3 days and in case of frequent use, for 2 weeks. Single dose of THC can be detected in urine for 1-6 days, weekly use for 3-9 days and daily use for 7-30 days. In hair follicle test, THC can be tested for 90 days.
Drug test for THC or marijuana is done by detecting its metabolite called THCCOOH which has low solubility in water and alcohol, so drinking lot of water and cranberry juice will not help to pass drug test. It will be good to stop smoking THC for 3 months before drug test.
