I Suffer From Allergies. Can Aromatherapy Oils Be Used To Cure Those Allergies, And If So, How?

Answer Question

You never said what you were allergic to – it could be something as common as pollen in the air, or something as specific as cat fur.

And you never said exactly how you suffer.

Aromatherapy won't cure your allergy, in fact aromatherapy and essential oils never provide the actual cure to any kind of complaint – they just activate your body's own internal healing mechanisms.

So we'd recommend the help of a qualified practitioner to discover precisely what it is that sets off your allergic reaction in the first place.

But in the meantime, here's an essential oil recipe to reduce that allergic reaction and help you feel normal once more:

25 drops Lavender, to soothe and calm
12 drops German Camomile, as an anti-inflammatory
13 drops Geranium, to bring your body functions back into balance

Mix the essential oils with 100ml cold-pressed vegetable, nut or seed oil to make up a massage lotion for use on a regular basis, and store it in the fridge, in a small glass bottle.

I suffer from serious sinus problems, affects ears, eyes, throat. I use eucalyptus, lemongrass, oregano, ginger root, pepperment. About three drops each with a mixing cream once a day.
