Where Can I Get My Indoor Household Feline Cat Certified As A Service Animal?

I am single and disabled with PTSD, Depression and anxiety disorders. I wish to have my beloved cat Certified and/or Registered per ADA Guidelines (and any other pertinent laws or regulations) as a Service Animal. I think it is referred to as Behavioral/Emotional Service Animal. Thank You !

The ADA calls any animal that is individually trained to provide help to a disabled individual. They do not need to be certified or registered for this, and under the law, any establishment refusing you entrance is being discriminatory.

However, these animals must be trained to provide assistance, and unless your cat has been trained it does not qualify. This training is important so that the animal behaves properly in the public and does not become a problem in a restaurant or another place where pets are not allowed. So you must either get your cat trained by a certified trainer to allow for it to serve as a service animal, or consider getting another already trained animal.
