Should RBI Function With Total Autonomy In A Such A Volatile & High Inflationary Situation?
With sky rocketing inflation, RBI has further increased CRR which in turn putting pressure on businesses & general public. Should RBI play a role which will not only push the growth prospects alive but it will also safeguard general public's wishes & desires.

RBI should function in total autonomy because the involvement of other bodies in its affairs may influence their decisions negatively or positively. Either way i think such an entity should function independently and take fall if any with regard to their decisions with regard to inflation, they are the custodians&tbsp; of this legislature.
