What Are The Isotonic Fluids?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Fluids in the range of 240 to 340 mOsm/litre are considered isotonic. An example is a 0.9% salt water solution, which has the same tonicity as blood plasma. In other words, it's a fluid which will most easily cross a blood cell membrane.
