When And Why Did The US Enter World War Two?

Answer Question

It was the Americans that brought us into the war technically... There were 5 midget subs outside pearl harbor waiting to find a way inside bc the subs couldnt cut the torpedo nets... When a cruiser was coming in the sub followed behind it and entered Pearl Harbor, before it got a chance to fire a torpedo they were spotted by another cruiser leaving Pearl and was shot in the con tower and sunk almost inside Pearl... That was technically the first shot fired by the U.S. In WW2! This was just about an hour or two before the air strike on Pearl Harbor. The Americans fired on the Japs first, not the other way around... You should look at history more, dude... And dont let your teachers tell you different!

Ok, the guy above has no freaking idea what he's talking about. The Japanese launched a surprise attack on Americans at Pearl Harbor, in Oahu, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941 This is what brought the US into World War 2.
