Operational Marketing accomplishes marketing functions and one of the main functions of such marketing is to make strategies for attracting new customers and keeping the current customer base. In order to attract new customers one has to have a good understanding of what should be the marketing mix and strategy and advertising campaigns etc.
In order to meet customer expectations, one should know what the customer wants, if they are satisfied with the current product and to what extent, and what additional efforts need to be taken to ensure that they do not start using other products. If a prospective customer is using a different product, one should know what do they like specifically with the product.
To obtain such information one should obtain answers to the following questions.
Q1) May I know what brand you are currently using.
Q2) For how long have you been using this brand.
Q3) What is the reason behind you choosing this brand among the rest available in the market?
Q4) What would make you try out a different brand?
Q5) What would make you switch to a different brand ?
Q6) Are you completely happy with the current brand or would you like to see some changes or improvements in the current product you are using.
