The word moblog is made from the words mobile and weblog (usually blog for short.) A moblog is a kind of weblog, but consists of information and images posted from a mobile phone, or other mobile device such as a palmtop.
The term is only 4 or 5 years old (the first Moblog conference was in 2003), though the first moblog was probably sent in 1995. If you want to see an example of a moblog, there is one at moblog.co.uk
