Can I Break My Lease If My Landlord Sold The House And New Owners Expect Me To Stay?

Answer Question

More than likely the owners of the house included your rental agreement into the sales agreement, and it is still binding. You will be notified of where to mail your rent ck, and all terms remain the same

Your lease agreement in this instance likely will transfer to the successors (new owners).
The lease agreement is still binding and you can damage your rental history by not fulfilling your obligation. You will be contacted by the new owners advising you of where they want to receive payments and how to report maintenance issues shortly after the transaction.
