How Do I Replace A Driver?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Locate My Computer in your Start Menu, and right-click on it.  Select Manage... and in the popup window you will see the Device Manager.  Click on that, find the device you're having trouble with, right-click on it and select Update Driver...

You are now in the device driver wizard, where you need to tell Windows where to locate the new driver.

Or if you have the driver brand and model name, you can simply log in to the website of that device and download the latest driver. After you download it, you may start installing it. It will overwrite the file, and you don't need to remove the previous driver. But if you would like to remove the previous driver first, I can give you more detailed instructions...
