How Do You Make Cider?

Answer Question

For easy apple cider, mix 1 bottle (that is about 64 fluid ounce) apple cider along with three cinnamon sticks in a slow cooker. Then wrap one teaspoon whole allspice and one teaspoon whole cloves in a small-sized cheesecloth; then add to pot. You then stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar. You have to bring to a boil while over high heat. You then reduce heat, and keep warm

Another alcoholic option for Hot Buttered Cider is where you take a large saucepan and combine 7  cups apple cider (or even apple juice) and 1/3  cup brown sugar. Then, for spice bag, you tie 4 sticks of cinnamon, one teaspoon whole allspice, as well as one teaspoon whole cloves, along with lemon peel (one peel cut into strips) in a roughly 7 inch square of cheesecloth that is 100 per cent cotton. You then add your spice bag to your cider mixture. Bring this to boil then proceed to reduce heat and let it simmer, covered, totally for 15 minutes.

Take out and dispose of spice bag and now stir in 1 1/2 cups of rum. After pouring in this cider mixture into your mugs you can float roughly 1/2 tsp butter or even margarine on each mug. You can top then one or may be two thin apple slices.
