Why Do Oceans And Lakes Make A Difference In The Weather?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

These will make differences due to precipitation. As well as climate influences.  Due to global warming, the oceans are getting cooler from the polar ice caps melting at an extremely high rate.  Combine this with warming of the earths surface, i.e. Sun heating air above or near lakes and oceans, causes water to become gas.. Once this happens, the combination will turn into precipitation, droplets of water.  As they come down, depending on where you are and how hot it is out, will either turn into rain or snow
