Yes. A member of my family works there. Kirkcudbright academy has had confirmed cases of the virus a couple of weeks ago. No communication to pupils/staff or parents was given. As a result, 180 pupils and several staff are now ill with flu-like symptoms. This has been played down in the news. The school continues to operate as normal when it should be closed down. This will have caused a mass infection that could have been avoided had it been handled responsibly.
