Can I Give Cat Over Counter Medicine Fo Cold?

Answer Question

No. They often need antibiotics or the illness can worsen become pneumonia and that is life threatening. There is also a possibility that it isn't a cold but a sign of some disease like possibly FIP or something else serious so you need to be sure WHAT your treating to treat correctly and effectively. A cat's liver processes things differently anyways and even some of the things that may be occasionally prescribed to dogs are not to cat's as they often result in death. You need to see your vet. Good luck and I hope it's minor and your kitty is feeling better very soon.
