What Was 'Krull'?

Krull was a fantasy film which was released in 1983. The film tells the story of Prince Colwyn, who is set to marry Princess Lissa. However, Lissa is kidnapped by Slayers, who have been ordered to attack the castle by The Beast. Prince Colwyn sets out to find a magical weapon called the Glaive, and then he must find the locatin of the Black Fortress, where Lissa is being held.

The film starred many well known actors such as Robbie Coltrane and Liam Neeson. James Horner provided the score for the film, which it is well recognised for.

Many adaptations of the film have been produced, including a novel by Alan Dean Foster in 1983, and also a comic book by Marvel Comics.

Other products related to the game include a board game, a video game for the Atari and also an arcade game. A pinball machine was also created, but never got released.
