Well with any kind of dog you might have to worry about jealousy. And every dog is different even if it's the same breed so it's hard to completely be sure. But I have a Doberman who is 2 1/2 and he's excellent with my 3 children. Their ages are 2, 4, and 6. He wasn't even raised with them as we have only had him a short period of time but he has been so good with them from day 1. Just make sure you introduce him slowly. And it might help if he was neutered. That helps make any dog less aggressive. But like I said, you never know until you try him out, do you have any relatives that have little kids or babies you can start getting him used to? I know certain dogs have stereotypes but I believe that the way they are raised reflects on their behavior.
