Midi Files are better than Audio ! If you have a good Midi Sound Module like Roland Sound Canvas etc. The better way for a musician is Midi Files, you can do anything you want.

    Mute or Delete Instrument:
If you play guitar you don't need the guitat track in your backing track so with Midi File you can Mute or Delete only this instrument.

    Better Sound:
If you choose good quality Midi Files the Sound is better than Audio because you can change volume, pan, reverb etc for each instrument, with audio files you can't change anything.

    Transpose:
With MIDI you can transpose global song or only one track. If you try to transpose an audio file with plugin the sound have noise and shake etc etc...

    Change instrument:
You can change instrument for a part with MIDI, if you don't like the piano you can choose another piano etc etc.

    Conclusion:
With MIDI files you have more flexibility and it's the better way for a professional musician or singer.

Before purchase Midi Files, you must be able to listen demos from the Online Store, if the store don't have any demos for the Midi, check for another Midi Files Store.
