Answer Question

Because it does not lay eggs like fish do. It gives birth to a calf which is what they call the baby whales when they are born until they become adults.

      1. FISH - are cold blooded and breathe underwater.
They move their vertcal tail fins from side to side when they
                    swim.

      2. WHALES - maintain a warm and constant body temperature and
                         breathe air with their lungs.
They move their horizontol tail fins up and down to propel
                         themselves through the water.
