The Age of Exploration was a time of great exploration and discovery all over the world. In most places it lasted from about 1600-1800 AD. In Africa, probably the greatest explorer was David Livingstone. Could anyone tell me what geographical features were discovered and charted in this time period?

David Livingstone carried out the explorations in Eastern and Central Africa for the British government. He also discovered and wrote about the slavery in Africa. During his trips, he also discovered the Victorian Falls in 1855. There were also discoveries of Lake Ngami, Lake Malawi and Lake Bangweulu.
