Why Does My Girlfriends Twelve Year Old Samoyed Appears To Have A Nose That Is Crumbling?

He may have "collie nose" which is the common name for the canine version of discoid lupus erythematosus. Although collies are notably prone to it, any breed of dog can get it. If it troubles the dog, the vet can prescribe a cream for it. In summer, apply a sunblock cream as sunlight makes it worse.
