Was William Blake Only Made Famous After His Death?

    William Blake was a painter, printmaker and a poet who was born in London, England. He was not very well renowned in his lifetime. He was made famous only after he passed away. In this age and century, his work is considered phenomenon in visual arts and poetry.  According to some critics, William Blake was the most phenomenal artist ever produced by Great Britain.

    William Blake's work was influenced by Marten Heemskerk, Raphael, and Michelangelo. It said that his parents were highly supportive of his interest in art and poetry. His parents knew about his passion and so, instead of enrolling him into school they sent him to drawing classes. William Blake is very well known for his master piece known as 'Dante's Inferno'.
