Crime is basically an act that results in breaking a law or a rule. Crime often results in a punishment for the doer as prescribed by the law enacting organization in the society. The word Crime has come from Latin word meaning guilt or accusation.

It is basically a behavior that deviates from the prevailing norms in a society. The history of Crime is as old as Adam and Eve. This is because man has the natural tendency to divert from the right track just because his own mind tells him so. The first crime was committed by Adam and Eve themselves for which they were sent on Earth.
