Julius Caesar married thrice in his lifetime; his first wife was Cornelia Cinnilla the daughter of Lucius Cornelius Cinna who served as Consul in the Roman Republic for four consecutive terms; the Cinna family was one of the most influential families in Roman politics. Caesar married Cornelia when he was 17 years of age in 83 BC; Cornelia gave birth to a girl who was named as Julia and died soon after.

His second marriage was to Pompeia Sulla the grand daughter of the Roman Dictator Lucius Cornelius Sulla with the marriage being regarded as a political alliance. Caesar did not have any issue from his second wife and divorced her after she was accused of having an affair with Publius Clodius a tribune of the Roman Republic.

Caesar married Calpurnia Pisonis with whom he was childless; according to sources she had a premonition that he was going to be assassinated and had warned him about the same.

Cleopatra VII the famous Queen of Egypt was Caesar's mistress as was Servilia Caeponis the mother of Brutus one of the chief conspirators in the assassination plot against Caesar. Caesar only biological son was from Cleopatra named as Caesarion and who ruled Egypt as Ptolemy XV.
