How Do You Make A Bath Salt Scrub?

Answer Question

This is quite simple really, you need some course sea salt, the addtion of a few herbs like rosemary, and lavender and even lemon verbena, is a good idea.
Then take a piece of towelling and sew it into a envelope by sewing up three sides of a rectangular piece of towelling doubled over. Fill it with the course salt and herbs, or the bath salt mixture you prefer, and then sew it closed.
Use in the bath to exfoliate areas like elbows, feet, back of arms and thighs.
This treatment is very effective. You can also add some olive oil to the same mixture, and store it in a jar, to use when you need it.

Salt scrubs are basically composed of bath salts, rice bran oil or olive oil or almond oil, and the essential oil of your choice. I guess all you have to do is mix them all up. I usually just get my bath scrubs already mixed with my choice of essential oil. I get my bath scrubs at the San Francisco Bath Salt Company and my favorite essential oil is lavender.
