How Much Fluoride Is Generally Added To Toothpaste?

Sodium fluoride (NaF) is the most important ingredient in the toothpaste and so there is a huge and considerate amount added to it. Some toothpaste even consists of sodium monofluorophosphate (SMFP).  Nearly all toothpaste has 1000 to 1100 parts per million fluoride ion from one of these on the go ingredients. This concludes for some the reason as to why low-priced toothpaste is just as good quality as expensive toothpaste!!

The first time ever Fluoride was ever added to the toothpaste was in the year 1914. But it managed to get the approval of American Dental Association (ADA) only in the 1950's, sine in the early years it was criticized by the American Dental Association (ADA). Every country usually has different amount that could be acceptable, for example in Africa it is a higher percent than the United States.
