How Does The TV Rating System Work?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A television rating system basically is a process of giving television audience an idea about the aptness of a television program for kids or grown-ups.

Quite a few nations have their own television rating arrangement. The method of rating varies from country to country and the programs are mainly rated on the basis of the associations which manage them. A rating is typically arranged per individual program. A widespread mistake is the postulation that a rating for one episode of a television program, is relate to all episodes of the program.

The ratings usually differ per episode and are mainly dependent on the network. The TV Parental Guidelines scheme was initially suggested in America in the year 1996 and was put into used in the year 1997.
