Singapore is a small, heavily urbanised, island city-state in Southeast Asia. There is actually no capital city. The major regions in Singapore are the Orchard area which is a shopping paradise. The financial district is around Shenton Way. The most popular tourist attraction beside shopping is Sentosa Island. A tiny island which has been tranformed to a tropical paradise. At the moment, the government has started on creating Las Vegas style of casinoes in Sentosa and Marina to attract more tourists.

The capital of Singapore is Singapore. Though it sounds funny its true! Just like Luxembourg having Luxembourg as capital and San Marino having San Marino as capital etc.
