The 1970's Saw A Declining Birth Rate In The US. Why Is The Population Still Growing?

    Maybe all the immigrating Mexicans that are Catholic and believe they should  by God's decree "go forth and multiply."

      I think its more along the lines of that people are living longer so even though birth rates have gone down, people aren't dying as early in their life as before so new babies are just increasing the population rather than just evening it out.
