What Things Should I Get For My New Rented Home?

Well if it is fully furnished, some of your basics will already be there, so lets look at the bedroom first. Get a medium TOG quilt and some comfortable non-allergenic pillows. Consider buying some reasonably priced Egyptian cotton sheets and duvet cover, they can be very expensive so shop around, this will create a real feeling of luxury in your bedroom.

Get a couple of wash baskets, folding ones from IKEA, that you can place, one in the bedrooms and one in the bathroom, this makes it easier for you to keep the place tidy clothes-wise.

Get some groovy plates, and a nice dinner set. IKEA also do amazing starter packs, but if you want to go upmarket, why not try out Habitat, they're owned by the same people but the Habitat quality is SO much better than IKEA, which is basic.

If you are moving into an unfurnished, get a good bed, sofa and dining room suite, that's where you spend most time, so invest in those. (oh and a good telly!)
