Where Is The Receiver Located, In The Fan Itself, If So Where?
The remote no longer operates the ceiling fan. Did change the battery and the red indicator light glows when pressed. But it will not operate the fan. My son messed with the code in the transmitter (remote) but I can't match the code to the receiver when I have no idea where the receiver is. I have looked at the fan and unscrewed the botton light fixture portion to see if it was encased there. Where is this receiver? Thanking you in advance. MBK

The receiver usually sits where the fan hangs with the ball hanger just underneath the ceiling cover.The receiver wires into the power source.
