    If My Landlord Is Selling The House And The Realtor Wants To Show My Apartment, How Much Notice Does He Need To Give Me?

    My Landlord just called me at work and started accusing me of getting in the way of him selling his house because I am asking for 48 hours notice before the realtor show my apartment (first floor). He feels he shouldn't have to give me any notice and is being very rude.

    The landlord cannot enter your apartment when he feels like it. He can only enter in an emergency. Other than that, he can only enter upon a mutually agreed time. Why not grant access to the place so long as you are called in advance. 48 hrs is a bit much. You know the place must be showed so allow the realtor access when you're at work. Tell them no showings after 7pm. That's fair to both of you unless you have something to hide. Don't keep important papers in plain view.
