Is There A Plant Called Pink Cheddar?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Pink cheddar is indeed a plant, and it belongs to the caryophyllaceae family and is a member of the genus dianthus. It is a member of the gratianopolitanus species and the firewitch is the most common type of cultivar under this category. It is a perennially-growing plant and grows to a height of anything between six inches and one foot, which approximately can be converted to between 15 and 30 centimetres. The pink cheddar is fully exposed to the sun. Parts of the plant are toxic if consumed, and handling the plant and pollen could trigger off an allergic reaction in sensitive people. It is pink in colour at the time of blooming and blooms either in mid-spring, late spring/early summer, late summer/early fall or mid-fall. Pink cheddar flowers attract bees, birds and butterflies, have fragrant flower, require average water and are suitable for growing in pots or containers in your kitchen garden.
