The Atmosphere is a general name given to the layer of gases that surrounds the material body of sufficient mass. These gases are attracted to the body through the gravity of the body and are held together due to the gravity pull of the given body. It is said that some planets consist primarily of various different gases. Due to these reasons these planets have very deep atmospheres and are also known as Gas Giants.
