    A biome can
    be defined as a "major regional community of plants and animals with
    similar life forms and environmental conditions.




    The largest
    part of the biosphere is made up of aquatic biomes.  Life is said to have
    arisen here before plants and animals moved onto land. There are two main types
    of Aquatic Biomes: Freshwater and Marine.




    Types of
    acquatic Biomes :


    Rivers

    Lakes

    Estuaries

    Intertidal zones

    Coral reefs

    Oceanic pelagic

    Abyssal
