no, I don't think they are the same thing. I believe that ghosts are invisible and only become visible when they are in a heated area, like 'invisible' writing. And aliens are usually some life form that behave in a completely different manner from normal human beings. They can be seen.

I do not believe they are the same thing.  To begin with, ghost are suppose to be those that have died, and an alien is a creature from outerspace.  (Logically speaking)

But, couldn't this so called Alien just be trying to get us to believe they are different. After all, it is far more simpler to be a ghost than an Alien.

No, an alien means that it isn't from here, we as people are, and there would be your difference. We aren't other worldly until we pass, and even then some of them are still earth bound, aliens aren't Hope this helps.
