Biggin Hill is located in the London Borough of Bromley, England. It can be found on the road from Bromley to Westerham (A233). It used to be a famous airfield and is presently a crowded residential area, which is two miles to the south-east of New Addington, The name is probably derived from a hilltop 'bigging' or a habitation. The nearby places include Cudham, Orpington, Downe, Leaves Green and Bromley. Ordered by distance, the closest railway stations are Orpington railway station, Hayes railway station, Bromley South railway station and Bromley North railway station

The Royal Air Force constructed an aerodrome on the high ground in 1918 in Biggin Hill. This is now London Biggin Hill Airport where airshows are a common feature.

A fascinating fact to note is that Biggin Hill is one place that allegedly is a home to a number ghosts. This is generally accredited to the fact that the place is the site of a World War II airbase.
