Can You Tell Me Something About Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan?
I bought and had installed a ceiling fan/light with remote. I cannot get the fan to work without the light on,light "off" Turns off both fan and light.

Most likely you have not connected the remote correctly. The receiver that you mounted in the canopy where the electrical wires are will have separate wires for the fan motor & the lights
