Who Wrote The Lyrics To "Where You Lead"?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

"Where you lead" is a lovely song by Carole King. It has been covered several times by notable artists like Faith Hill and Barbara Streisand. It features in Tapestry, her 1971 album which had plentiful hit singles. The much-covered "You've Got a Friend" also features on this album. This four time Grammy Award winning artist has been inducted into not only the Songwriter's Hall of Fame but also the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

You may recognize King's "Where You Lead" as the theme song when viewing the popular Gilmore Girls TV series. King herself sings along with her daughter Louise, in this theme-song version. In fact, King herself makes three guest-star appearances on this series, playing Sophie, who owns the music store of Stars Hollow.
