What Can Your Baby See?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Many experts used to think that babies cannot see. But over the past few years, many experiments and research has shown that babies can see and are visually enabled right from the time of their birth. When infants are born, they are born with the ability to focus on things and objects at any distance from their faces. During the first 2 months they do not have full control on their muscles but after 2 months their focusing power gets accurate.

However, we can say that a baby does not have a very clear vision for the first 2 months of its life. The vision and the ability of a baby to see details betters after 2 months, but the development also depends on the development of the retina and the brain and their co ordination. By the time an infant is 8 to 9 months old, his vision is as developed as an adult human being.
