Does Any One Know The Award Given To The Last Person Who Comes Into The Iditorod?

I'm doing an extra credit project on Alaska that's my little sister jessie!

    Its called the red Lantern reward, and I believe its a plaque, not money. It rewards the person for perseverance, for finishing the long hard trek even though they know they wont win. It's very hard to complete this trek and all who do so are great athletes, especially the dogs!

      You can also go to www.wikipedia.org, and find it in there. The award is the red lantern award. They also douse the lantern when the last racer comes in to signify that they all made it in safely.
