    If A Company Is Dissolving And I Am Trying To Cash Out My 401k; How Long Do They Have To Pay Out These Funds?

    The company I used to work for was bought out. I have been trying to cash out my 401K and I am getting the run around. How long do they have to release these funds?

    Well if the company is dissolved and if the company is a public limited company then the court appoints a arbitrator which liquidate the company in a legal way. First the creditors money will be paid then it will your turn. For details check this website.
