How Do I Know If It Is An Ear Infection?
My head and neck hurt, my ear is itchy and on the same side my ear is itchy is where my neck and head are sore. Do you think it could be an ear infection?

It could be, if it's not an inner infection, it could be an outer infection. Please make sure you get it looked at as soon as you can. There can be damage that occurs if you leave it unchecked. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

You get an inner ear infection when viruses get into your middle ear and cause irritation. I suggest you visit a doctor. He would look into your ear with a flashlight and blow a little puff of air into your ear. If you do have an ear infection, the doctor would tell you what to do next. However, by the symptoms you have mentioned, you seemed to be having some other problem. The main symptoms you get in an ear infection are only ear pain and fever.
