Do You Have Any Tips For Writing Persuasively?

This subject can be studied at length, but there are a few underlying principles. Some of these are:
-give reasons for everything you say
-provide lots of evidence – statistics, anecdotes, famous names, anything concrete. Ideally, overwhelm your readers with detail.
-be positive, though not necessarily unrealistic. Dwell on the good points of what you're proposing (or, if you're arguing/protesting against something, the good that could be achieved)
-exaggerate: use lively adjectives, eg "fantastic" "life-changing". People won't believe them, but they lift up the mood. Equally, exaggerate the awfulness of the opposite view (life without your new vacuum cleaner, for instance.)
-Create a personal relationship with your audience. Use "we" and "us" rather than "you." Refer to shared experience and/or values, eg "we all want the best for our children…"
Finally, why not use rhetorical questions? These are questions where you already know the answer, such as "we wouldn't like to live in a world without vacuum cleaners, would we?"
