How Do You Reheat Crab Legs That Are Frozen?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Take a large pot and fill about 2/3 full of water. Let it come to a boil. Once water is boiling, add crab leg clusters until there is no room for any more. Let pot come to a second boil and continue boiling for 15 minutes. Remove crab leg clusters with hotdog tongs or pour whole pot into sink over strainer. Serve while still warm.

Put about 2 - 3 c. Water in the bottom of a pot, add lemon, Squeeze it, so the juice is in the water, and add kosher salt, and about 2 cloves of fresh garlic. Put a steam tray in the pot, and then cover for about 15 minutes, all should be nicely warmed and flavored. Hope this helps, good luck with it.

Surprisingly all you have to do is place the frozen crab legs in the microwave for about 5 minutes on normal heat.  Then once that is done, you can safely place them in a col lander over a pan of pan of boiling water and access them as appropriate.

I prefer to heat them in the oven, about 250 degrees til you smell them, then take them out.
