    X+5y=-7
    and 2x-3y=7

    -2(x+5y) = -2(-7)

    -2x - 10y = 14
    2x  -  3y  =  7
    - 13y = 21

    y = -21/13

    2x-3y=7

    2x-3(-21/13) = 7

    2x+ 63/13 = 7

    2x = 7 - 63/13

    2x = (91 - 63)/13

    2x = 28/13

    x = 28/26

    x = 14/13
