My Female Cat May Have Epilepsy, What To Do?

I am new to Blurtit. My female indoor cat is around 10 yrs old and recently began having seizures which now have become as of this weekend frequent. She jumps around out of control and shakes and runs into thinks and hit her head on the floor. She vomits up a clear liquid which is coming a heavy each time of the seizure. When she comes out of it she is very weak and confused. I counted at least 5 or 6 seizures today. How serious to her life is this possible cause of these seizures?

It can occur due to internal parasites, which release toxic substances and damage nervous system of the cat. Normally cats don't vomit in this disease but due to these parasites they can. It can be a reaction of certain vaccination as well. There are lots of reasons but symptoms are sure directing towards this disease. Feed it high quality home made diet rich in sugar, vitamin B6, A, D, Calcium and magnesium. Sometimes it can occur due to sugar deficiency in the body. I am suggesting you its medical treatment but it can lead to reactions as well. So show your pet to some vet as well. My prescriptions are: Diazepam (Valium), Primidone, Phenobarbital, and Potassium Bromide. If Seizures lasts for less than one minute then its not that fatal but if five minutes and less then it is dangerous but curable. If it lasts for several hours then it is hard to control.

You could go to the vet to get some anti seizure meds for her.
