Took A 5 Panel Drug Test For Thc,coc, amp, pcp, opi. Will The Valium I Took Show Up?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I'd assess the likelihood of the test detecting valium as 99.9%...Valium is a benzodiazepine, and benzo's are among the most commonly abused drugs.  If you're using it illicitly, or have a prescription for it, but failed disclose that info on the pre-test questionnaire, you can probably keep looking for work.

The likelihood of a "five panel test" checking for PCP use is slim.  PCP is simply not commonly abused these days, nowhere near as often as benzos, cocaine and cannabis; it would be nearly pointless to test for it, instead of benzos.

The reason that most 5-Panel drug tests test for PCP, especially if they are work place is because they are following the NIDA guidelines and the NIDA 5 drugs that are most commonly tested for are: Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, PCP and THC. Those are the drugs designated by NIDA. Other drugs may be added to a panel but those are the federal guidelines for testing.
