Who Is William Shakespeare?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

William Shakespeare is perhaps one of the most famous or the most famous and celebrated figures in English literature. His plays and sonnets are well known the world over and are examples of exemplary penmanship. His command over language is reflected in his plays; both tragic and comedy. Many of his phrases became part of spoken English; words that he coined became part of its vocabulary.

Shakespeare's works have endured the ages. Right from the time of Queen Elizabeth the First to this day and age where there is not a theatre somewhere in the world where an adaptation of one of his many works is not showing. His Romeo and Juliet and Anthony and Cleopatra are as admired today as masterpieces of tragedy as they were then. People have talked and written about almost every aspect of the bard's existence.

William Shakespeare has entranced us all in the world by his many writings [sonnets, plays, and poems] my favorite is Romeo & Juliet. My other favorite is Hamlet. My short version for it is: Die, die, die, everybody dies.
